Private bus operators in Bengaluru have significantly increased ticket prices following a hike by the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC). This surge in fares, particularly on popular routes to Mangaluru, Hubballi, and Belagavi, is placing a substantial financial burden on commuters during the festive season. Operators cite rising operating costs, including increased diesel prices and toll charges, as reasons for the fare revision. Commuters, however, accuse operators of exploiting the festive demand and KSRTC's fare increase to charge exorbitant prices.

कर्नाटक राज्य सड़क परिवहन निगम (KSRTC) द्वारा किराए में बढ़ोतरी के बाद बेंगलुरु में निजी बस ऑपरेटरों ने टिकट की कीमतों में काफी वृद्धि की है। मंगलुरु, हुबली और बेलगावी जैसे लोकप्रिय मार्गों पर किराए में यह वृद्धि, त्योहारों के मौसम में यात्रियों पर भारी वित्तीय बोझ डाल रही है। ऑपरेटरों का कहना है कि डीजल की बढ़ती कीमतें और टोल शुल्क सहित परिचालन लागत में वृद्धि के कारण किराए में यह बदलाव किया गया है। हालांकि, यात्रियों का आरोप है कि ऑपरेटर त्योहारों की मांग और KSRTC की किराए में बढ़ोतरी का फायदा उठाकर अत्यधिक शुल्क वसूल रहे हैं।
