Kanpur residents can now bypass traffic jams with the inauguration of the Saraiyan Railway Overbridge. Constructed at a cost of ₹150 crore, the 1.13 km long, four-lane bridge aims to ease congestion on the Ganga Barrage route. The project, initially planned in 2016, faced delays due to design changes and budget approvals, finally opening after a six-year wait. This new infrastructure will significantly reduce travel time for commuters from Unnao, Raebareli, and Lucknow, and also alleviate pressure on the Jaajmau bridge.

कानपुर के लोग अब सराययां रेलवे ओवरब्रिज के उद्घाटन से ट्रैफिक जाम से बच सकते हैं। ₹150 करोड़ की लागत से बना 1.13 किमी लंबा, चार-लेन का यह पुल गंगा बैराज मार्ग पर भीड़भाड़ को कम करने के उद्देश्य से बनाया गया है। 2016 में शुरू हुई इस परियोजना में डिजाइन में बदलाव और बजट की मंजूरी के कारण देरी हुई, आखिरकार छह साल के इंतजार के बाद यह खुला। यह नई अवसंरचना उन्नाव, रायबरेली और लखनऊ के यात्रियों के लिए यात्रा के समय को काफी कम कर देगी, और जाजमऊ पुल पर दबाव भी कम करेगी।
