Ancient Greek Rings Made From Meteorite Iron

A chemical study of 91 ancient iron objects from Bronze Age Greece suggests meteorite iron was more common than previously thought. At least ten rings were likely crafted from metal that fell from the sky. Their burial contexts indicate these unique items held significant value, possibly reserved for elites. This discovery sheds new light on ancient metallurgy and the symbolic importance of celestial materials.
