Odisha CM Reviews Flood Situation, Oversees Relief Efforts

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi conducted an aerial survey and visited flood-affected districts, directing officials to ensure essential assistance for those impacted. Heavy rainfall from a deep depression has caused flooding in 13 districts, with over one lakh people moved to more than 500 relief centres. The Mahanadi river is also experiencing a minor flood alert, potentially inundating five delta districts. Relief camps are providing food, water, and medical services, with families to receive aid for 15 days.

ओडिशा के मुख्यमंत्री मोहन चरण माझी ने हवाई सर्वेक्षण किया और बाढ़ प्रभावित जिलों का दौरा किया, अधिकारियों को प्रभावित लोगों के लिए आवश्यक सहायता सुनिश्चित करने का निर्देश दिया। एक गहरे अवसाद से हुई भारी बारिश के कारण 13 जिलों में बाढ़ आ गई है, और एक लाख से अधिक लोगों को 500 से अधिक राहत शिविरों में ले जाया गया है। महानदी नदी में भी मामूली बाढ़ की चेतावनी है, जिससे पांच डेल्टा जिलों में पानी भर सकता है। राहत शिविरों में भोजन, पानी और चिकित्सा सेवाएं प्रदान की जा रही हैं, और परिवारों को 15 दिनों के लिए सहायता मिलेगी।
