GAIL Shares Surge 4% After Q2 Profit Rises Over 8% To Rs 4,650 Crore

GAIL's shares saw a nearly 4% jump to Rs 174.80 on the NSE, reaching their day's high. This surge followed the company's announcement of an 8.3% increase in its second-quarter net profit, reaching Rs 4,650 crore. Revenue from operations also grew by 17.8% year-on-year to Rs 45,895 crore during the same period. The company's board also approved the potential listing of its subsidiary, GAIL Gas, through an IPO, which could involve diluting up to 25% of GAIL's equity holding.

NSE पर GAIL के शेयर करीब 4% बढ़कर 174.80 रुपये पर पहुंच गए, जो दिन का उच्चतम स्तर था। यह उछाल कंपनी द्वारा दूसरी तिमाही में अपने शुद्ध मुनाफे में 8.3% की वृद्धि की घोषणा के बाद आया, जो 4,650 करोड़ रुपये रहा। इसी अवधि में परिचालन से राजस्व भी साल-दर-साल 17.8% बढ़कर 45,895 करोड़ रुपये हो गया। कंपनी के बोर्ड ने अपनी सहायक कंपनी GAIL Gas की IPO के माध्यम से संभावित लिस्टिंग को भी मंजूरी दे दी, जिसमें GAIL की इक्विटी होल्डिंग का 25% तक का विनिवेश शामिल हो सकता है।
