Patna Municipal Corporation Organises Property Tax Camps Across Wards

The Patna Municipal Corporation (PMC) will host ward-wise property tax assessment camps to 10. These camps aim to bring unassessed properties into the tax net and facilitate new assessments, reassessments, and corrections. The initiative follows an ongoing door-to-door survey to expand the tax base and boost revenue. Property owners can also pay outstanding dues at the camps, with a 1.5% monthly penalty on pending taxes effective. PMC officials are directing sanitation inspectors and sector supervisors to identify properties needing assessment.

पटना नगर निगम (PMC) 10 तक वार्ड-वार संपत्ति कर मूल्यांकन शिविरों की मेजबानी करेगा। इन शिविरों का उद्देश्य बिना मूल्यांकन वाली संपत्तियों को कर के दायरे में लाना और नए मूल्यांकन, पुनर्मूल्यांकन और सुधारों को सुविधाजनक बनाना है। यह पहल कर आधार का विस्तार करने और राजस्व बढ़ाने के लिए चल रहे घर-घर सर्वेक्षण के बाद की गई है। संपत्ति मालिक शिविरों में बकाया राशि का भुगतान भी कर सकते हैं, जिसमें लंबित करों पर 1.5% मासिक जुर्माना प्रभावी है। PMC अधिकारियों ने स्वच्छता निरीक्षकों और सेक्टर पर्यवेक्षकों को मूल्यांकन की आवश्यकता वाली संपत्तियों की पहचान करने का निर्देश दिया है।
