Severe erosion by the Ganga River in Begusarai, Bihar, has submerged approximately 20 homes in the Chiraiyatok area. The rapid erosion has consumed about 400 meters of land in just 15 days, posing a grave threat to residents of six wards in Bishanpur Panchayat. Local villagers are appealing to the district administration for immediate and effective measures to protect their lives and property. Following instructions from Union Minister Giriraj Singh and DM Richi Pandey, a technical team from the Water Resources Department inspected the affected site.

बिहार के बेगूसराय में गंगा नदी के भयंकर कटाव ने चिरैयाटोक इलाके में करीब 20 घरों को डुबो दिया है। तेज़ कटाव ने सिर्फ़ 15 दिनों में लगभग 400 मीटर ज़मीन निगल ली है, जिससे बिशुनपुर पंचायत के छह वार्डों के निवासियों के लिए बड़ा खतरा पैदा हो गया है। स्थानीय ग्रामीण अपने जीवन और संपत्ति की रक्षा के लिए ज़िला प्रशासन से तुरंत और प्रभावी उपायों की अपील कर रहे हैं। केंद्रीय मंत्री गिरिराज सिंह और डीएम रिची पांडे के निर्देशों के बाद जल संसाधन विभाग की एक तकनीकी टीम ने प्रभावित स्थल का निरीक्षण किया।
