Newlywed Woman Strangled, Head Battered Near Rajkot

A 22-year-old man allegedly murdered his wife, a 20-year-old woman, near Rajkot by strangling her and then hitting her head with a stone. The accused, Dipak Shingar, attempted to stage the murder as a train accident by leaving her body on railway tracks. The victim's father had previously reported that his daughter was subjected to domestic abuse and character suspicion by her husband. Police have registered a murder case against Dipak, who has reportedly confessed to the crime.
