Bihar Pensioners: Over 1 Crore Complete Life Verification Ahead of Deadline

In Bihar, more than 1 crore out of 1.16 crore social security pension beneficiaries have successfully completed their mandatory life verification process. Over 13.57 lakh beneficiaries are yet to complete this exercise before the deadline. The social welfare department stated that this annual verification is crucial for maintaining transparency in the pension distribution system. Failure to complete the verification by the deadline will result in the suspension of pension payments. Madhubani district led in verification completion, followed by Patna and East Champaran.

बिहार में, 1.16 करोड़ सामाजिक सुरक्षा पेंशन लाभार्थियों में से 1 करोड़ से ज़्यादा ने अपनी अनिवार्य जीवन सत्यापन प्रक्रिया सफलतापूर्वक पूरी कर ली है। 13.57 लाख से ज़्यादा लाभार्थी अभी भी डेडलाइन से पहले यह काम पूरा करने वाले हैं। समाज कल्याण विभाग ने कहा कि पेंशन वितरण प्रणाली में पारदर्शिता बनाए रखने के लिए यह सालाना सत्यापन बहुत ज़रूरी है। डेडलाइन तक सत्यापन पूरा न करने पर पेंशन का भुगतान रोक दिया जाएगा। सत्यापन पूरा करने में मधुबनी ज़िला सबसे आगे रहा, उसके बाद पटना और पूर्वी चंपारण का नंबर आया।
