A 20-year-old college student named Harsha drowned in Hesaraghatta Lake while swimming with friends. He had told his mother he was going to college but instead went to the lake. Harsha reportedly entered deeper waters and struggled to swim before drowning. Police and fire services, with the help of a local diving expert, recovered his body. A case has been registered, and further investigation is underway by the Soladevanahalli police.
