BJP Counters Rahul Gandhi On Anti-Incumbency Claims

The BJP has sharply responded to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's claim that anti-incumbency against the party has disappeared. BJP national spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi cited electoral history, particularly in Tamil Nadu and West Bengal, to argue that anti-incumbency has historically been stronger against the Congress. Trivedi pointed to decades without Congress governments in states like Tamil Nadu since 1967 and West Bengal since 1977, also mentioning Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and Odisha.

भाजपा ने राहुल गांधी के इस दावे पर तीखा जवाब दिया है कि कांग्रेस के खिलाफ एंटी-इनकम्बेंसी खत्म हो गई है। भाजपा प्रवक्ता सु ด้านशु त्रिवेदी ने चुनावी इतिहास का हवाला देते हुए कहा कि कांग्रेस के खिलाफ एंटी-इनकम्बेंसी हमेशा से ज्यादा रही है। उन्होंने तमिलनाडु में 1967 और पश्चिम बंगाल में 1977 से कांग्रेस की सरकार न होने का उदाहरण दिया, साथ ही बिहार, उत्तर प्रदेश और ओडिशा का भी जिक्र किया।
