Ganjam Closes All Beaches Due To Cyclonic Storm; Shelters Fishermen

Ganjam district in Odisha has closed all its beaches, including popular tourist spots like Gopalpur and Sonapur, for five days due to a cyclonic storm forming over the Bay of Bengal. The administration has also provided shelter to 186 fishermen from Andhra Pradesh and the Paradip area who were caught in rough seas. These fishermen, who had ventured out in trawlers, are safe and have food supplies. They will remain sheltered, as authorities have restricted fishing activities during this period.
