Man Arrested in Patna for 1998 Murder Case After 28 Years

A former Dombivali resident, Sandeep Krishnan, 46, has been arrested in Patna, Bihar, 28 years after allegedly murdering his former brother-in-law, Shailesh More. The incident occurred in 1998 over a divorce dispute. Krishnan and two accomplices reportedly strangled More, disfigured his face, and dumped his body on railway tracks to stage it as an accident. Police traced Krishnan using mobile phone location and other technological tools. His two alleged accomplices are still absconding, and the search for them is ongoing.
