Dhanteras, celebrated, is a day for worshipping Lord Kuber and Dhanvantari, traditionally associated with purchasing gold, silver, and valuable items to increase wealth. However, astrologers advise against buying certain things on this auspicious occasion. Items like ironware, sharp objects such as knives and scissors, and glass items are considered inauspicious. Black-colored items and empty utensils are also best avoided. Purchasing these items is believed to invite negative planetary influences, disrupting prosperity and harmony.
