Filmmaker Aakash A Kaushik has responded to audience comparisons between his film 'Udta Teer' and Ranveer Singh's 'Dhurandhar', both spy thrillers set against the India-Pakistan conflict. Kaushik explained that he and 'Dhurandhar' director Aditya Dhar discussed their differing protagonist paths even during the writing process, making the comparisons understandable. He expressed admiration for 'Dhurandhar' and dismissed theories that 'Udta Teer' is a reverse version of the other film. Meanwhile, 'Udta Teer' saw a significant Saturday box-office jump, collecting Rs 4 crore.
