Two critical vulnerabilities in the widely-used PHP programming language have prompted urgent action from governments and companies globally. Identified by AI initiatives and cybersecurity firms, these flaws could grant attackers direct access to servers' file systems and databases. Finland has shut down state internet services, while the Netherlands and France have taken websites offline. India's CERT-In and the US NSA have advised organizations to update PHP systems or take them offline. The Wikimedia Foundation is also addressing the vulnerabilities, causing temporary access issues for Wikipedia.
