Former Indian captain Kapil Dev has advised caution regarding the future of 15-year-old cricketer Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who has recently joined the Indian T20 team. While acknowledging Suryavanshi's potential, Dev pointed to past instances of talented players fading away, citing Vinod Kambli as an example. Dev emphasized that it is too early to predict Suryavanshi's success, suggesting a wait of at least three years to assess his development amidst changing life circumstances. Suryavanshi is currently a third opener in the T20 squad, getting opportunities when regular players are rested.
