Consumers in Karnataka are largely avoiding the 10 kg LPG cylinder option, despite its promotion by oil companies. This is due to significantly higher refill prices, with a 10 kg cylinder costing between ₹1,700 and ₹1,800 compared to ₹945 for a 14.2 kg cylinder. Additionally, the deposit for the smaller cylinder is ₹3,000, higher than the ₹2,200 for the standard one.
