Judge Awarding 36 Death Sentences Transferred To Family Court

Judge Ravi Kumar Diwakar, known for awarding 36 death sentences across 23 cases in Muzaffarnagar and Bareilly within 16 months, has been transferred. He will now serve as the additional principal judge of the family court in Muzaffarnagar. Diwakar previously drew attention when pending case files were recalled from his court, prompting him to question the administrative reasons. He also previously ordered a court-monitored survey of the Gyanvapi mosque complex, after which he reported receiving threats.

36 मौत की सज़ा सुनाने वाले जज का तबादला अब होंगे फैमिली कोर्ट के जज

मुज़फ़्फ़रनगर और बरेली में 16 महीने में 23 मामलों में 36 मौत की सज़ा सुनाने के लिए जाने जाने वाले जज रवि कुमार दिवाकर का तबादला कर दिया गया है। अब वह मुज़फ़्फ़रनगर में फैमिली कोर्ट के अतिरिक्त प्रधान जज के तौर पर काम करेंगे। दिवाकर पहले तब चर्चा में आए थे जब उनके कोर्ट से लंबित केस फाइलें वापस ले ली गई थीं, जिस पर उन्होंने प्रशासनिक कारणों पर सवाल उठाया था। उन्होंने पहले ज्ञानवापी मस्जिद परिसर का कोर्ट की निगरानी में सर्वे कराने का आदेश भी दिया था, जिसके बाद उन्हें धमकियां मिलने की बात कही थी।
