Delhi Air Quality Dips to 'Very Poor' Category Amid Winter Pollution
The Hindu · india
Delhi's air quality deteriorated to the "very poor" category on Monday morning, with the Air Quality Index (AQI) reaching 310. Several other cities in north India, including Noida and Hapur, also experienced similar air quality levels. This decline is attributed to meteorological factors like lower wind speeds and temperatures, compounded by stubble burning and festive season pollution. Authorities have implemented winter pollution control measures, including vehicle restrictions and construction halts, effective from November 1.
