Kolkata's Tiretta Bazar is now home to the Cheenapara Heritage Gallery, which opened on September 5. The gallery aims to preserve, document, and showcase the rich heritage of the city's Chinese community. Curator Sohini Pyne emphasized the need for a dedicated space to share these intimate stories with both the Chinese community and the wider Kolkata populace. The gallery displays artefacts like old menus and sauce bottles, honouring the ancestors of the community.

कोलकाता के Tiretta Bazar में अब Cheenapara Heritage Gallery है, जो 5 सितंबर को खुली। इस गैलरी का मकसद शहर के चीनी समुदाय की समृद्ध विरासत को सहेजना, दस्तावेज़ बनाना और दिखाना है। क्यूरेटर Sohini Pyne ने इस बात पर ज़ोर दिया कि चीनी समुदाय और कोलकाता के आम लोगों के साथ इन निजी कहानियों को साझा करने के लिए एक समर्पित जगह की ज़रूरत है। गैलरी में पुराने मेनू और सॉस की बोतलों जैसी चीज़ें रखी गई हैं, जो समुदाय के पूर्वजों का सम्मान करती हैं।
