Karnataka Launches Gruha Lakshmi Beneficiary Verification Drive

Karnataka government has initiated household verification for the Gruha Lakshmi scheme to ensure only eligible residents receive benefits. Enumerators will collect EPIC and Aadhaar-seeded bank account details to identify and remove ineligible or deceased beneficiaries. This drive aims to prevent misuse of funds, with Rs 79.8 lakh already recovered from deceased beneficiaries. Anganwadi workers will assist in the process, ensuring the scheme's integrity and reaching intended recipients.

कर्नाटक ने गृह लक्ष्मी लाभार्थी सत्यापन अभियान शुरू किया

कर्नाटक सरकार ने गृह लक्ष्मी योजना के लिए घर-घर जाकर सत्यापन शुरू कर दिया है। इसका मकसद यह पक्का करना है कि सिर्फ़ सही लोगों को ही इसका फ़ायदा मिले। सर्वे करने वाले लोग वोटर आईडी और आधार से जुड़े बैंक खाते की जानकारी लेंगे। इससे अपात्र या मरे हुए लोगों के नाम हटाए जाएंगे। अब तक मरे हुए लाभार्थियों से 79.8 लाख रुपये वसूले जा चुके हैं। आंगनवाड़ी कार्यकर्ता भी इसमें मदद करेंगी ताकि योजना का सही इस्तेमाल हो।
