Delhi Police Busts Fake Marriage Racket

Delhi Police has exposed a large-scale fraud racket that operated under the guise of matchmaking services. The gang targeted single men seeking marriage, creating fake profiles and using call center employees to pose as brides and their families. They operated a seemingly legitimate website and office, charging fees ranging from ₹2,500 to ₹15,000 for services. The masterminds, a lawyer and a woman named Jay Shakya, ran the operation from a call center in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. The scam was uncovered when a victim filed a complaint after losing ₹15,000.

दिल्ली पुलिस ने शादी कराने वाली सेवाओं के नाम पर चल रहे एक बड़े धोखाधड़ी रैकेट का पर्दाफाश किया है। यह गिरोह शादी की तलाश में अकेले पुरुषों को निशाना बनाता था। वे नकली प्रोफाइल बनाते थे और कॉल सेंटर के कर्मचारियों से दुल्हन और उनके परिवार वालों का रूप धरवाते थे। उन्होंने एक वेबसाइट और दफ्तर भी बना रखा था, जहाँ वे ₹2,500 से ₹15,000 तक की फीस लेते थे। इस रैकेट का सरगना एक वकील और जय शाक्य नाम की महिला थी, जो आगरा से यह सब चला रहे थे।
