He felt the project might be premature. However, his opinion shifted after seeing Anthony Ippolito's portrayal of a young Stallone, which he found remarkably convincing. Stallone clarified he was not involved in the production, directed by Peter Farrelly, but offered guidance to Ippolito. He also discussed his ongoing desire to recut the 1990 film 'Rocky V,' which he considers a personal disappointment.
