Gujarat ATS, Coast Guard Seize 526kg Heroin, Meth Worth Rs 3,000 Cr; 5 Pakistanis Held

In a major operation, the Gujarat Anti-Terrorism Squad and Indian Coast Guard seized approximately 526 kg of heroin and methamphetamine, valued at over Rs 3,000 crore. The drugs were intercepted aboard an Iranian dhow in the Arabian Sea, west of Lakshadweep. Five Pakistani nationals were apprehended during the operation. Intelligence indicated the drugs were destined for the Tamil Nadu coast and intended for a Nigerian national in Punjab. The investigation is ongoing to uncover the international network behind this large drug haul.

एक बड़े ऑपरेशन में, गुजरात एंटी-टेररिज्म स्क्वाड और इंडियन कोस्ट गार्ड ने लगभग 526 किलोग्राम हेरोइन और मेथामफेटामाइन जब्त की है, जिसकी कीमत 3,000 करोड़ रुपये से अधिक है। ये ड्रग्स लक्षद्वीप के पश्चिम में अरब सागर में एक ईरानी नाव पर रोकी गईं। इस ऑपरेशन के दौरान पांच पाकिस्तानी नागरिकों को पकड़ा गया। खुफिया जानकारी से पता चला कि ड्रग्स तमिलनाडु तट के लिए थीं और पंजाब में एक नाइजीरियाई नागरिक के लिए थीं। इस बड़ी ड्रग्स की खेप के पीछे के अंतरराष्ट्रीय नेटवर्क का पता लगाने के लिए जांच जारी है।
