Ulema Criticize Huda Zariwala's Paradise Remarks; Chat Leak Escalates Row

TV9 Hindi · spirituality

Religious scholars (Ulema) from Deoband have strongly objected to Huda Zariwala's statement in a podcast suggesting women will also receive 72 men in paradise, mirroring the 72 houris promised to men. This controversy intensified after screenshots of a private social media conversation between Zariwala and Maulana Kari Ishaq Gora surfaced. Zariwala is threatening legal action and police complaints if the post is not deleted, while the Ulema insist religious discussions must be based on facts and authentic texts. Zariwala, a former AAP spokesperson, has previously been arrested for controversial comments.
