Times of India - India · india

A 650-acre ranch on Lake Palestine, owned by the same Texas family since 1940, will be transformed into a new state park. The Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation acquired the property for over $10 million, securing a significant tract of land along the lake. The family, involved in a pecan nursery business, expressed that the land holds deep personal meaning and they are pleased it can become a legacy for others. While development will occur in phases, the park aims to offer various recreational activities and conservation opportunities.
