China is significantly expanding its People's Liberation Army helicopter fleet with new attack gunships and heavy-lift platforms designed for challenging Himalayan terrain. This includes domestically developed aircraft like the Z-10, Z-19, and the versatile Z-20 family, alongside continued use of Russian models. This rotorcraft modernization aims to enhance troop mobility and operational flexibility along the border with India. India faces a growing challenge in maintaining its military advantage in the high-altitude region where aerial logistics are critical for forward positions and troop support.

चीन अपने पीपुल्स लिबरेशन आर्मी हेलीकॉप्टर फ्लीट का काफ़ी विस्तार कर रहा है, जिसमें नए अटैक गनशिप और भारी-भरकम लिफ्ट प्लेटफॉर्म शामिल हैं जो हिमालय के मुश्किल इलाकों के लिए डिज़ाइन किए गए हैं। इसमें Z-10, Z-19, और बहुमुखी Z-20 परिवार जैसे घरेलू स्तर पर विकसित विमानों के साथ-साथ रूसी मॉडलों का निरंतर उपयोग भी शामिल है। इस रोटरक्राफ्ट आधुनिकीकरण का उद्देश्य भारत के साथ सीमा के साथ सैनिकों की आवाजाही और परिचालन लचीलेपन को बढ़ाना है। भारत को ऊंचाई वाले क्षेत्र में अपना सैन्य लाभ बनाए रखने में बढ़ती चुनौती का सामना करना पड़ रहा है, जहाँ आगे की चौकियों और सैनिकों के समर्थन के लिए हवाई लॉजिस्टिक्स महत्वपूर्ण हैं।
