Two unidentified flying objects were sighted by Royal Air Force pilots in separate incidents over the North Sea within a five-day span in February 2026. The first object, described as drone-like, passed just 100-150 feet above an RAF Voyager aircraft at approximately 17,000 feet. A few days later, a Typhoon fighter pilot observed a black, car-tire-sized object flying about 300 feet above his jet. Both incidents occurred at altitudes far exceeding the standard 400-foot limit for civilian drones.
