RPF Boosts Security at Ranchi, Hatia Stations Amidst Festive Travel Surge

RPF has intensified security and crowd management measures at Ranchi and Hatia railway stations in anticipation of increased passenger traffic for Diwali and Chhath Puja. Two holding areas with a 250-passenger capacity each will be established at Ranchi station, alongside barricades and additional personnel to regulate queues and prevent stampedes. Similar arrangements are in place at Hatia station, though passenger rush is reportedly lower. To accommodate the surge, railways have announced several special festive trains operating on various routes from Ranchi and via the city.

आरपीएफ ने दिवाली और छठ पूजा के लिए यात्रियों की बढ़ती संख्या को देखते हुए रांची और हटिया रेलवे स्टेशनों पर सुरक्षा और भीड़ प्रबंधन के उपाय तेज कर दिए हैं। रांची स्टेशन पर 250 यात्रियों की क्षमता वाले दो होल्डिंग एरिया बनाए जाएंगे, साथ ही कतारों को नियंत्रित करने और भगदड़ रोकने के लिए बैरिकेड्स और अतिरिक्त कर्मी तैनात किए जाएंगे। हटिया स्टेशन पर भी इसी तरह की व्यवस्था की गई है, हालांकि वहां यात्रियों की भीड़ कम बताई जा रही है। इस भीड़ को संभालने के लिए रेलवे ने रांची से और शहर के रास्ते चलने वाली कई स्पेशल फेस्टिव ट्रेनों की घोषणा की है।
