Gujarat's car market experienced a significant 19.6% year-on-year growth in September, with passenger vehicle registrations reaching 37,340 units. While CNG cars maintained the largest share at 35%, their dominance decreased from the previous year. Hybrid and electric vehicles saw substantial gains, with hybrid registrations rising to 7.1% and EVs nearly doubling their share to 6.9%. This shift indicates a growing consumer interest in alternative powertrain options alongside traditional petrol and diesel. The automotive dealers association anticipates further sales momentum due to the upcoming festive season.

सितंबर में गुजरात के कार बाज़ार में पिछले साल के मुकाबले 19.6% की ज़बरदस्त बढ़ोतरी हुई, जिसमें पैसेंजर गाड़ियों का रजिस्ट्रेशन 37,340 यूनिट तक पहुँच गया। जहाँ CNG गाड़ियों का हिस्सा सबसे बड़ा 35% रहा, वहीं पिछले साल के मुकाबले उनका दबदबा थोड़ा कम हुआ। हाइब्रिड और इलेक्ट्रिक गाड़ियों में काफ़ी उछाल देखा गया, हाइब्रिड रजिस्ट्रेशन बढ़कर 7.1% हो गए और EV का हिस्सा लगभग दोगुना होकर 6.9% पर पहुँच गया। यह बदलाव दिखाता है कि लोग पेट्रोल और डीज़ल के साथ-साथ वैकल्पिक पावरट्रेन विकल्पों में भी ज़्यादा दिलचस्पी ले रहे हैं। ऑटोमोबाइल डीलर्स एसोसिएशन को आने वाले त्योहारी सीज़न की वजह से बिक्री में और तेज़ी आने की उम्मीद है।
