This initiative aims to leverage India's digital payment success story to enhance cross-border transactions and strengthen India's position in the global digital economy.

प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने UPI को ग्लोबल पेमेंट सिस्टम से जोड़ने पर ज़ोर दिया है। उन्होंने कहा कि UPI को दुनिया भर में फैलाकर 'देसी कनेक्ट' को बढ़ावा देना ज़रूरी है। इस कदम से भारत की डिजिटल पेमेंट की सफलता का इस्तेमाल दूसरे देशों के साथ लेन-देन बढ़ाने और ग्लोबल डिजिटल इकोनॉमी में भारत की स्थिति मज़बूत करने में होगा।
