Sunil Lahri, who famously portrayed Lakshman in the original 'Ramayan' TV series, has officially approved Ravie Dubey's casting in Nitesh Tiwari's upcoming 'Ramayana' film. Lahri shared a fan-made reel comparing his portrayal to Dubey's, noting that the 'innocence and intensity' required for Lakshman is visible in the new actor. While he previously expressed disappointment with some of the film's music, Lahri believes Tiwari has made a good film. The film is being released in two parts, with the first part out now and the second scheduled for Diwali 2028.
