Hyrox, the indoor fitness competition combining running and functional exercises, has partnered with World Triathlon, moving closer to its goal of Olympic and Paralympic recognition. Announced on October 28, the agreement establishes hybrid racing as a recognized discipline within World Triathlon. This partnership allows Hyrox to expand through World Triathlon's global network and pursue inclusion in major multisport events. While inclusion in the Games is not yet confirmed, the deal introduces three competition formats: Ultimate, Fast, and Ultra, blending running with fitness challenges.
