NTPC Reports 14% Rise in Q2 Net Profit to ₹5,320 Crore

State-owned power producer NTPC Ltd. saw its standalone net profit surge by 14.3% year-on-year to ₹5,320 crore in the September quarter. This growth was driven by a 11.1% increase in electricity generation to 92.413 billion units and improved operational efficiencies. The company's plant load factor rose to 73.53%, and average realization from power tariffs also edged up. Revenue from operations increased nearly 17% to ₹45,752 crore, with consolidated net profit jumping 40.7% to ₹7,351 crore.

सरकारी बिजली कंपनी NTPC Ltd. का सितंबर तिमाही में स्टैंडअलोन शुद्ध लाभ साल-दर-साल 14.3% बढ़कर ₹5,320 करोड़ हो गया। यह वृद्धि बिजली उत्पादन में 11.1% की बढ़ोतरी से 92.413 अरब यूनिट और परिचालन दक्षता में सुधार से हुई। कंपनी का प्लांट लोड फैक्टर बढ़कर 73.53% हो गया, और बिजली टैरिफ से औसत प्राप्ति भी थोड़ी बढ़ गई। परिचालन से राजस्व लगभग 17% बढ़कर ₹45,752 करोड़ हो गया, जबकि समेकित शुद्ध लाभ 40.7% बढ़कर ₹7,351 करोड़ हो गया।
