Actors Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna discussed the challenges performers face when asked to do scenes or wear costumes they are uncomfortable with. Speaking on Koffee With Karan, they highlighted the need for actors to feel empowered to say no without being labelled unprofessional. Their comments come amid controversy over Janhvi Kapoor's portrayal in the film Peddi. Mandanna stated she sets personal boundaries regarding excessive skin show, even in commercial cinema. Deverakonda added that actors often feel pressured and question their professionalism when they try to voice such concerns.
