Three Youths Electrocuted During Durga Idol Immersion Procession In Gorakhpur

Three youths, including two brothers, died and seven others were injured after an iron rod on a Durga idol trolley touched an 11,000-volt high-tension wire during an immersion procession in Gorakhpur on Wednesday evening. The injured were taken to Nehru Hospital, where three were declared dead and five remain in critical condition. The deceased were identified as Lucky, Vicky, and Chandan from Jungle Ayodhya Prasad village. The accident occurred near Rajhi crossing, prompting outrage and protests from residents demanding an FIR against power corporation officials for alleged negligence.

गोरखपुर में बुधवार शाम को दुर्गा प्रतिमा विसर्जन जुलूस के दौरान प्रतिमा ट्रॉली पर लगा लोहे का रॉड 11,000 वोल्ट के हाई-टेंशन तार से छू गया, जिससे तीन युवकों की मौत हो गई और सात अन्य घायल हो गए। घायलों को नेहरू अस्पताल ले जाया गया, जहाँ तीन को मृत घोषित कर दिया गया और पाँच की हालत गंभीर बनी हुई है। मृतकों की पहचान जंगल अयोध्या प्रसाद गांव के लकी, विक्की और चंदन के रूप में हुई। यह हादसा राजही क्रॉसिंग के पास हुआ, जिससे गुस्साए निवासियों ने बिजली निगम के अधिकारियों पर लापरवाही का आरोप लगाते हुए एफआईआर दर्ज करने की मांग की।
