INDIA bloc MPs staged a 'Save Democracy March' in Delhi, protesting the appointment of Gyanesh Kumar as an election commissioner. The opposition lawmakers began their march from Parliament towards the Election Commission headquarters but were stopped by police barricades approximately 200-300 meters away. Following the police action, leaders including Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi entered the Akashvani Bhavan premises and began a sit-in protest. Rahul Gandhi demanded a meeting with all three election commissioners, specifically Gyanesh Kumar.
