मुंबई के एक होटल में डोसा में चूहा मिलने की शिकायत अब एक्सटॉर्शन केस बन गई है। दो बहनों पर आरोप है कि वीडियो वायरल होने और रेस्टोरेंट का लाइसेंस सस्पेंड होने के बाद उन्होंने होटल मालिक से 25 लाख रुपये मांगे। बहनों ने कथित तौर पर कहा कि उनके रिश्तेदार बीमार थे और उन्हें इलाज के लिए पैसों की ज़रूरत थी। बातचीत के बाद होटल मालिक ने 1 लाख रुपये दिए, लेकिन बहनों ने बाकी रकम की मांग जारी रखी। इसके बाद होटल मालिक ने पुलिस में शिकायत दर्ज कराई, जिसके चलते बहनों के खिलाफ FIR दर्ज हुई।
