Visually Impaired Students Receive Special Laptops for Digital Training

Visually impaired students at Andhra Loyola College in Vijayawada received specialised laptops during a three-day advanced digital training workshop. Organised by the college's HEPSN wing in collaboration with Benetech–Bookshare, USA, the workshop aims to enhance digital skills for higher education. Twelve laptops, sponsored by the Torchit Foundation, were distributed to aid students in writing exams and completing assignments independently. The training focuses on screen-reading software and accessible digital platforms, promoting greater accessibility and confidence in their studies.

विजयवाड़ा के आंध्र लोयोला कॉलेज में दृष्टिबाधित छात्रों को तीन दिवसीय उन्नत डिजिटल प्रशिक्षण कार्यशाला के दौरान विशेष लैपटॉप मिले। कॉलेज के HEPSN विंग द्वारा Benetech–Bookshare, USA के सहयोग से आयोजित इस कार्यशाला का उद्देश्य उच्च शिक्षा के लिए डिजिटल कौशल को बढ़ाना है। Torchit Foundation द्वारा प्रायोजित बारह लैपटॉप छात्रों को स्वतंत्र रूप से परीक्षा लिखने और असाइनमेंट पूरा करने में मदद करने के लिए वितरित किए गए। प्रशिक्षण स्क्रीन-रीडिंग सॉफ्टवेयर और सुलभ डिजिटल प्लेटफार्मों पर केंद्रित है, जिससे उनकी पढ़ाई में अधिक पहुंच और आत्मविश्वास को बढ़ावा मिलता है।
