Two Boys Contaminate School Water Tank in Playful Manner, Says Police

Two boys, aged 11 and 12, have been identified as responsible for contaminating the overhead water tank of a government primary school in Maanur, Dindigul. The superintendent of police stated the act appeared to be done playfully without malicious intent. The headmaster reported the incident after discovering a faeces-like substance upon the school's reopening. Police registered a case, and after questioning over 40 people, confirmed the boys' involvement. The contaminated water was drained and the tank disinfected; no students consumed it.

11 और 12 साल के दो लड़कों की पहचान डिंडिगुल के मानूर में एक सरकारी प्राइमरी स्कूल की पानी की टंकी को दूषित करने के लिए की गई है। पुलिस अधीक्षक ने कहा कि यह काम शरारत में किया गया लगता है, किसी दुर्भावना से नहीं। स्कूल खुलने पर मल जैसा पदार्थ मिलने के बाद हेडमास्टर ने घटना की सूचना दी। पुलिस ने मामला दर्ज किया और 40 से ज़्यादा लोगों से पूछताछ के बाद लड़कों की संलिप्तता की पुष्टि की। दूषित पानी को निकाला गया और टंकी को कीटाणुरहित किया गया; किसी भी छात्र ने इसका सेवन नहीं किया था।
