Tusker Wanders Through Biramitrapur, Residents On Edge

Residents of Biramitrapur in Sundargarh district experienced fear and anxiety from Sunday night to Monday morning as a wild tusker roamed through densely populated areas. The elephant entered the town after crossing NH-143, causing panic among locals and motorists. Forest officials were alerted and monitored the animal throughout the night, advising the public to maintain a safe distance. The operation to guide the tusker back to the Laleikhaman-Jalanbira reserve forest was successful on Monday morning, with intensified surveillance now in place.

बहराइच में हाथी का आतंक, लोग सहमे

रविवार रात से सोमवार सुबह तक सुंदरगढ़ जिले के बहराइच के निवासियों ने डर और चिंता का अनुभव किया जब एक जंगली हाथी घनी आबादी वाले इलाकों से गुजरा। हाथी ने NH-143 पार करने के बाद शहर में प्रवेश किया, जिससे स्थानीय लोगों और वाहन चालकों में दहशत फैल गई। वन अधिकारियों को सूचित किया गया और उन्होंने पूरी रात जानवर की निगरानी की, जनता को सुरक्षित दूरी बनाए रखने की सलाह दी। सोमवार की सुबह हाथी को वापस लालेईखमन-जलनबीरा आरक्षित जंगल में भेजने का अभियान सफल रहा, अब कड़ी निगरानी रखी जा रही है।
