Sourabh Chandrakar, the alleged kingpin of the Mahadev Online Book betting syndicate, has been extradited from Oman to India. Chandrakar, who started by selling juice in Bhilai for Rs 15,000 a month, is accused of building an international betting empire. Investigators estimate his extravagant wedding in Dubai cost Rs 200 crore. The syndicate allegedly operated from Dubai with thousands of branches across India, using digital platforms for operations. Chandrakar faces proceedings in multiple CBI and ED cases related to money laundering.

महादेव ऑनलाइन बुक सट्टेबाजी सिंडिकेट के कथित सरगना सौरभ चंद्राकर को ओमान से भारत प्रत्यर्पित कर दिया गया है। चंद्राकर, जिसने भिलाई में महीने के ₹15,000 में जूस बेचकर शुरुआत की थी, पर एक अंतरराष्ट्रीय सट्टेबाजी साम्राज्य बनाने का आरोप है। जांचकर्ताओं का अनुमान है कि दुबई में उनकी भव्य शादी पर ₹200 करोड़ खर्च हुए थे। सिंडिकेट कथित तौर पर दुबई से संचालित होता था और भारत भर में इसके हजारों ब्रांच थे, जो संचालन के लिए डिजिटल प्लेटफॉर्म का उपयोग करते थे। चंद्राकर मनी लॉन्ड्रिंग से संबंधित कई CBI और ED मामलों में कार्यवाही का सामना कर रहे हैं।
