The UK government is amending the Immigration Act 1971 to enable the deportation of serious foreign criminals. Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood announced Parliament will change the law, specifically targeting individuals like grooming gang leader Shabir Ahmed, who was jailed for rape. This move aims to remove legal protections for offenders convicted of grave crimes, ensuring they can be removed from the country.

ब्रिटेन की सरकार इमिग्रेशन एक्ट 1971 में बदलाव कर रही है। अब गंभीर विदेशी अपराधियों को देश से निकाला जा सकेगा। होम सेक्रेटरी शबाना महमूद ने कहा कि पार्लियामेंट कानून बदलेगी। खास तौर पर ग्रूमिंग गैंग लीडर शबीर अहमद जैसे लोगों को निशाना बनाया जाएगा, जिन्हें रेप के मामले में जेल हुई थी। इस कदम से संगीन जुर्म करने वाले अपराधियों को कानूनी सुरक्षा नहीं मिलेगी और उन्हें देश से बाहर भेजा जा सकेगा।
