KTR Urges CM Revanth Reddy to Expedite JNTU Engineering College Campus Construction

BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao has written to Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, urging him to resolve issues and speed up the construction of the JNTU Engineering College permanent campus in Sircilla. The project, approved in 2021 with an estimated cost of ₹402 crore, has yet to begin despite 20 acres being allotted. The college is currently operating from temporary premises, and Rama Rao expressed concern over proposals to shift it again.

बीआरएस के कार्यकारी अध्यक्ष के.टी. रामा राव ने मुख्यमंत्री ए. रेवंत रेड्डी को पत्र लिखकर सिरसिला में जेएनटीयू इंजीनियरिंग कॉलेज के स्थायी कैंपस के निर्माण से जुड़े मुद्दों को सुलझाने और काम में तेजी लाने का आग्रह किया है। इस प्रोजेक्ट को 2021 में ₹402 करोड़ की अनुमानित लागत से मंजूरी मिली थी, लेकिन 20 एकड़ जमीन आवंटित होने के बावजूद अभी तक काम शुरू नहीं हुआ है। कॉलेज फिलहाल अस्थायी परिसर से चल रहा है, और रामा राव ने इसे फिर से कहीं और स्थानांतरित करने के प्रस्तावों पर चिंता जताई है।
