Abhijeet Dipke, founder of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), was taken into preventive detention by police shortly after leaving his residence in Delhi. He was on his way to attend a 'Tiranga Yatra' in Connaught Place. Police cited Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, which restricts gatherings in the area. Dipke questioned his detention, stating he was alone and had broken no laws. Authorities also issued a notice reminding him of a previous legal undertaking to avoid public disturbance.
