The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah of protecting Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. CJP leaders Abhijeet Dipke, Saurav Das, and Ashutosh Ranka were detained at Delhi Airport before protests demanding Kumar's resignation over alleged electoral roll irregularities. A Delhi court ordered their release, stipulating they must not breach peace. The CJP claims the government is at 'war with citizens' to shield Kumar.

कॉकक्रोच जनता पार्टी (CJP) ने प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी और केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह पर मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त ज्ञान‌ेश कुमार को बचाने का आरोप लगाया है। CJP नेताओं अभिजीत दीपके, सौरव दास और आशुतोष रांका को चुनावी रोल में कथित अनियमितताओं को लेकर कुमार के इस्तीफे की मांग कर रहे विरोध प्रदर्शनों से पहले दिल्ली हवाई अड्डे पर हिरासत में लिया गया था। दिल्ली की एक अदालत ने उन्हें रिहा करने का आदेश दिया, लेकिन यह शर्त रखी कि वे शांति भंग नहीं करेंगे। CJP का दावा है कि सरकार कुमार को बचाने के लिए 'नागरिकों के साथ युद्ध' पर है।
