Democratic Republic of Congo has commenced vaccinating healthcare workers against Ebola in Bunia, the epicenter of the fastest-growing outbreak in history. Front-line responders are prioritized in Ituri province, targeting 20,000 workers over six to nine months with the Ervebo vaccine. This initiative aims to protect those most exposed to the Bundibugyo virus, which has caused 7,541 cases and 3,639 deaths.
