Passport Regulates Indian Departures, Only 8% Have It

विदेश मंत्रालय ने बताया कि पासपोर्ट मुख्य रूप से भारतीय नागरिकों के देश से बाहर जाने को नियंत्रित करने का एक दस्तावेज़ है। अभी तक सिर्फ़ करीब 8% भारतीयों के पास ही पासपोर्ट है। यह आंकड़ा दिखाता है कि ज़्यादातर लोगों के लिए विदेश यात्रा की सुविधा बहुत कम है। सरकार नागरिकों के देश से बाहर जाने को आसान बनाने और नियंत्रित करने के लिए पासपोर्ट जारी करती है।
