Love Always Series Review: Potent Concept Undone By Juvenile Treatment

The Hindu · india

The Tamil web series 'Love Always,' adapted from a Korean webtoon, explores a potent concept of an elderly couple magically transforming into their younger selves. This transformation offers them a chance to revisit their marriage, reconnect with family, and confront past lives. However, despite its imaginative premise, the series struggles to deliver the depth and quirkiness expected from such a fantastical storyline. The narrative focuses heavily on the repercussions for the family and the marriage, treating the central age-reversal idea in a surprisingly off-handed manner.
